How can I take care of my dental health at home?To maintain good dental health at home, it is recommended to: Brush your teeth twice a day with a fluoridated toothpaste Floss daily to remove plaque and food particles from between teeth Use mouthwash to kill bacteria and freshen breath Limit sugary + acidic foods + drinks Visit your dental hygienist regularly for dental cleanings

How often should I have my teeth cleaned?The Canadian Dental Association recommends bi-annual dental cleanings or visits every six months. In cases where gum and bone health are at risk, more frequent cleanings may be advised. One of our dental hygiene professionals would be pleased to consult with you and set up a personalized dental cleaning schedule.

What’s included in a dental appointment at Luxe Dental Hygiene?We'll start by talking with you to learn about any oral health concerns you may be having and any goals you have for your smile. Your dental hygienist will perform a comprehensive periodontal exam and take any necessary x-rays before discussing your diagnosis and any recommended treatments. We’ll empower you with the information you need to make the decision that’s right for you. One of our dental hygiene professionals will complete a thorough dental cleaning utilizing our modern high tech dental equipment. The cleaning will be followed by dental polishing and fluoride treatment. If you booked a Zoom Teeth Whitening appointment, one of our dental hygiene professionals will discuss your teeth whitening goals with you, and thoroughly explain the whitening procedure + after care prior to making your teeth brighter and whiter. With your consent, before + after photos will be taken to ensure you are happy with your results.

What payment options do you offer?We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and cash payments. As well as our helpful receptionist team will facilitate and submit any insurance benefit claims on your behalf.
